Welcome to Auctionet’s help center. This is a general guide to features and services powered by the Auctionet platform.

Yes, someone else can collect your items on your behalf. Here is how:

Step 1: Verify your identity

Before someone can collect items for you, your identity needs to be verified. You can do this on My pages under "Profile & settings", using BankID or by uploading a picture of your ID.

If you are unable to verify your identity on My pages, you can instead email us a picture of your ID, together with the name of the person collecting, via our contact form.

Some collection points may require a certified copy of your ID, for example for items of high value. A certified copy means that someone other than you and the person collecting confirms that the copy matches the original, and signs it with their signature, name in block letters and phone number.

Step 2: Tell us who is collecting

You always need to provide the first and last name of the person collecting, even if your identity has already been verified. How you do this depends on where the item is to be collected:

  • Auctionet Logistics collection points (Skärholmen, Gothenburg, Malmö and Westbury): Send us the name of the person collecting and the item number via our contact form.
  • Other connected collection points: Email the collection point directly with the name of the person collecting and the item number.
  • Auction houses: Email the auction house directly with the name of the person collecting and the item number.

Step 3: At collection

The person collecting needs to:

  • show their own valid ID,
  • bring the item number, and
  • bring their own packing materials. These are usually not available on site, and auction houses cannot help with carrying.

Please note: This does not apply to parcels delivered to a parcel pickup point or to your home.
