A Georgian seed pearl necklace. Yellow metal with seed pearls surrounding a glazed hairwork panel. Clasp tests as approx 11ct, and is partially detached from one side of the necklace. Likely originally part of a parure/ suite of jewellery as with a parure case.

Provenance: This necklace was a family heirloom inherited by the first born girl of successive generation provided that girl included “Margarita” in her name. The previous owner (vendor's great aunt), was a code breaker at Bletchley.
