First World War - Erast C Luscott - 15 year old’s under age soldier’s double issue BWM to 16803 Pte E.C. Luscott K.S.L.I. and Victory Medal to J.51498 E.C. Luscott A.B. Ernest Charles Luscott was born in Clun 9/2/00, enlisted in Shropshire L.I. 31/12/14 stating his age was 19, landed in France 23/6/15, returned to UK 19/8/15 and discharged 23/8/15 having made a mis-statement as to age on enlistment. He then enlisted in Navy as a boy 3/3/16, still serving in 1929. With copied RN record, Army MIC and page from service papers.
