A greeting card sent by Princess Alexandra, Lady Ogilvy, first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II to Sybil Smith. Princess Alexandra also received riding instruction from The Smiths. The card reads 'Dear Miss Smith, This is just to wish you a very happy special birthday. I have so many vivid memories of Holyport Riding Stables in the 1940s. My warmest wishes to you yours ever, Alexandra.' The card is accompanied by a signed Lenare studio photograph of the young Princess.
