Two unique and original sculptures of a pair of llamas by renowned sculptor, James Ort.
Grandson to Ladybird Children’s Book Illustrator Brian Price Thomas, James was drawing, making, and creating from a very young age. Now equally comfortable working in ceramics, wire, mixed media, painting, and drawing, James’s work has been exhibited in local and national exhibitions and was featured in the March/April 2023 issue of “New Ceramics” magazine which is dedicated to the arts and crafts in ceramics and gives an overview of international developments in ceramics.
James teaches adults and children and runs the Phoenix Studio, a dedicated sculpture studio set in a beautiful meadow in the village of Towersey (nr Thame), Oxfordshire. He has also fulfilled several private commissions.
