Harold Swanwick (British, 1866-1929), ‘Returning from Work’ watercolour on paper. Watercolour of a man walking his horses along a country road. Signed in pencil lower left, framed and glazed. W. B. Simpson label affixed to verso. Famed for his landscapes as well as scenes of farmers and horses, Swanwick trained in London, Liverpool & Paris. He exhibited in the Royal Academy from 1889 and was an elected member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. 24.5cm x 37cm.
