An invitation to a Buffet Supper at Windsor Castle. Sent on behalf of HM Queen Elizabeth II by The Master of the Household on embossed card. It reads' The Master of the Household has received Her Majesty's commands to invite Miss Sybil Smith to a buffet supper to be given by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh on Sunday, 14th May 1978, at 8 for 8.30pm.' Also the accompanying menu for the buffet supper on embossed card is included. Both are contained in their original envelope.
Sybil Smith was the daughter of Horace Smith and together they ran a riding school. They were riding instructors to The Queen when she was a child.
