Stan Kaminski (b.1952) – Ballet Dancers, blue tone gouache painting of a group of ballet dancers. Work produced from an original reference material watching Giselle at Royal Birmingham Ballet. Framed and mounted. Signed 'Stan Kaminski' to bottom left of work. Based in Warwickshire Kaminski is known for his views of Venice and wildlife paintings. The originator of the “three colour palette” painting method that restricts the artist to three colours, focussing on cohesion and tonal value. Born in Banbury, England in 1952 to Polish parents. He attended The Moseley School of Art in Birmingham from the age of 11. At the age of 21, he left to work in a variety of advertising agencies as a designer and art director. He later became a freelance illustrator with his work appearing in Woman & Penthouse Magazine and on National Television (BBC’s Black Adder III). 38cm x 27cm.
