A Chinese export silver tea caddy in a quatrefoil form with lid, decorated with repousse scenes of figures and creatures on of the four sides of the body and with geometric decoration and Chinese characters on the shoulder and lid. Unidentified maker's marks in Chinese characters on underside. Tests as sterling using XRF. Approx 12cm high. Dents to base and to one side. 185g
