A beautiful Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring, stamped as platinum. Set with a central square step cut sapphire (5.5mm), flanked on each side by an oval cut between two triangular diamonds. Size P. 4.88g.

The ring is in very good condition overall. The sapphire has a good colour and transparency. There appears to be some angular colour zoning which would indicate that the sapphire (5.5mm) is natural and not synthetic but this is not conclusive. There is some wear to the facet edges of the sapphire and some scratches on the table. The stones all appear to be secure on their settings. There is an amount of dirt behind the diamonds which prevents accurate grading, as does the setting itself. The shank appears to be in good condition with some minor surface scratching. It look like it has been resized at some point.
