Early 19th Century Embroidery Sampler by Ann Broom 1826. Floral and plant design with alphabet to upper and a scene to lower with trees, animals and two figures under a tree. Verse reads ’Now that my journey I just begun. My course to little trod I’ll stay before I further run, and give myself to God’. Signed ‘Ann Broom finished this work at the Bampton National School June 1826.’ Measures 22.5cm x 27cm.
