Third Reich Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppel Solingen, finely detailed top pommel in the form of the eagles head, two piece stag horn grips with aluminium police eagle emblem to the centre. Housed in its original leather scabbard with nickel plated fittings. Plain straight blade with fuller to the back edge. Alexander Coppel Solingen scales makers stamp to the obverse of the blade and full makers trade mark to the reverse. Marked ‘S.G.I. 109’ to both guard and scabbard. Blade length 32.5cm, overall length 48.5cm.
