A Victorian gold and amethyst fob. The round mixed cut amethyst of approx 15mm diameter is set in a 9ct gold fob with foliate decoration. Birmingham hallmarks for 1887. Weight 5.38g. Length 30mm. Gold mount in very good condition- amethyst with small chip on table facet, light scratches on table and nibbles on facet edges.
