A 1940s (believed to be 1945) Christmas card signed by TRH Princess Elizabeth (later HM Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret. The cover is decorated with twin red and gilt embossed crowned E and M monograms. The interior displays a black and white photograph taken by Cecil Beaton of the two smiling sisters standing on a staircase.
The card is inscribed by Princess Elizabeth 'To Mr. Smith and Sybil from Elizabeth' Princess Margaret has also added her own signature. Card in generally good condition with some light foxing. Mr Smith and his daughter Sybil were riding instructors to the Queen.
