Eileen Alice Soper (British, 1905-1990) – ‘The Donkey Race’ original dry point etching on paper, signed lower right in pencil. Framed and glazed. Original The Abbey Gallery, 2 Victoria Street Westminster label to reverse. Eileen Soper was an English etcher and illustrator of children’s and wildlife books. She produced a series of etchings, mainly of children playing, and illustrated books for other writers, notably for Enid Blyton and Elizabeth Gould. 33cm x 21cm.
