Victorian Prosser Mameluke Officer’s Sword single edge curved steel blade double edged for the last 27cm, each side faintly etched with a crown over crossed lances, with maker's name Prosser “PROSSER Maker to the King & Royal Family London”, the gilt brass hilt with raised foliate rosettes to the langets, ball quillons, the two piece grip with foliate head rivets and with gold thread sword knot and cords. Gold coloured scabbard. Overall length 90cm.
